For our 27th anniversary, we decided to hike the Narrows of Zions National Park. It was a wonderful adventure and we loved every minute once we got started. We rented water boots to hike in. After walking about 1/2 mile (not even to the Narrows yet), Karla took off her boots and she had a major blister! We were both completely bummed because we thought our trip was over. Karla just looked at Dave and said, "It will be better once we get in the cold water." And it was.
The rock formations and the hike were spectacular. We truly admired the handy work of God. What a blessing to see one of the many wonders of the world.
We then traveled on to Utah to visit the kids and spend some time with them. We brought down some chairs for Jon and Sarah in the back of the truck. It was a wonderful place to sit and read.
